We collect minimal data. Your email if you subscribe. Game stats stored locally on your device. No tracking cookies, no ads, no selling your data. Here is the full breakdown.

1. Information We Collect

Outcalled collects very little information. Here is exactly what we collect and why:

• Email address (optional) - Only if you subscribe to daily game reminders. Collected through our email subscription form and stored securely with Resend, our email service provider.
• Game data (local only) - Your scores, streaks, game history, and preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to our servers.
• Basic analytics - We use Vercel Analytics to understand page views and general usage patterns. This collects anonymized data like page visits and device type. No personal information is tracked.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Daily email reminders - If you subscribe, we send one email per day reminding you to play the Daily Game. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Game functionality - LocalStorage data is used to save your game progress, track your streak, and remember your preferences like dark mode.
• Service improvement - Anonymized analytics help us understand which features are used most and where we can improve.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

Outcalled does not use traditional tracking cookies. Instead, we use your browser's localStorage to save game state. Here is what we store:

• Game results - Your daily scores and whether you have already played today
• Streak data - Your current and longest streak
• Theme preference - Whether you prefer light or dark mode
• Onboarding state - Whether you have seen the tutorial

This data is stored entirely on your device. Clearing your browser data will reset all of it. We do not have access to your localStorage data.

4. Third-Party Services

Outcalled uses the following third-party services:

• Polymarket API - We fetch prediction market data from Polymarket's public API. No user data is shared with Polymarket through our service. If you click a link to Polymarket, their own privacy policy applies.
• Resend - Our email delivery service. If you subscribe, your email address is stored in Resend's systems. Resend's privacy policy governs their handling of that data.
• Vercel - Our hosting provider. Vercel Analytics collects anonymized usage data. Vercel's privacy policy governs their data practices.

5. Data Retention

Email addresses are retained as long as you are subscribed to our mailing list. You can unsubscribe at any time, and your email will be removed from our active mailing list. LocalStorage data persists until you clear your browser data or uninstall your browser.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email we send
• Delete your local data by clearing your browser's localStorage for outcalled.com
• Request data deletion by emailing us at hello@outcalled.com and we will remove any data we have associated with your email
• Request a copy of any data we hold about you

7. Children's Privacy

Outcalled is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
